Kitchen & Cooking
The kitchen at Wreck is a long galley kitchen with a sliding door that opens to the garden. A large kitchen table sits 6/8 comfortably.
There is an electric fan oven with hob, a microwave, large fridge-freezer and the usual domestic appliances.
Heating & Hot Water
There are storage heaters throughout the house. Please don't change the settings on these.
For cold days, there are additional fan heaters which you can find in the bottom of the wardrobe in the twin room.
Washing & Cleaning
There is a washing machine and dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets are provided.
There is a tumble drier in the garage and a washing line at the side of the house.
We are now welcoming well-behaved dogs (max. 2 per week) back at Wreck Cottage with an additional cleaning charge of £20 per week.
We do ask that dogs are kept out of the bedrooms and off furniture.
A bag of coal, kindling and firelighters will be provided free of charge per each week of your stay.
Additional coal can be purchased from Macnairs on Kinloch Road in Campbeltown or please contact me if you would like me to arrange extra bags for your stay.
Recycling & Rubbish
Rubbish is collected every 3rd Tuesday morning. Recycling is collected every fortnight.
Please make sure the bins are put out at the roadside the night before.
We have doubled our cleaning hours at each changeover and our cleaners are wearing masks and using anti-viral spray.
To restrict Covid transmission, please bring your own beach & bath towels. Hand and kitchen towels will be provided.
We ask that, at the end of your stay, you place your bedding in the soluble laundry bags provided.
Arrival time has been changed to 4pm to allow for an extra hour of airing of the house.
Board games and other non-essential items have been removed to help limit possible points-of-contact.
All touch-points are cleaned at each changeover.
